Why does anyone care? Can SAP run on MSSQL effectively - answer yes. We all know that. Speculating about what one company may or may not run doesn't get us anywhere. The fact is that all of Oracle,DB2 and MSSQL run enterprise scale, business critical apps. Claiming that the competitor can't do it when it clearly can is far too close to marketing for my liking.
