Yes I suppose this will also work. Although next year I'll end up doing an exp/imp anyway unless there is better way to migrate from Oracle on HP-UX to Linux/Intel. I have done an upgrade in test using mig and it seemed to go alright.

But what Niall says does make sense. I forget that I can do all those great operations like "move" in 9i that I can't in 7.3.4!
