Any error messages? Where during the process does it crash? Are you selecting to install it into an existing schema, or is emca creating the schema for you?

I have similar problems with the latest Oracle Warehouse Builder on WinXP. It simply goes bye-bye when I attempt to create a repository. Between you and me.. I think Java is still an immature environment and the slogan "code once and crash everywhere" holds true... and then people complain about _Windows_!?? And this is not the lack of coffee talking either..
