Not bad. Of course, the scary thing is that IT managers will read this and ask their DBA's running 8.0 or 7.3 in their Pentium 2 PC's exactly why aren't they getting the same performance. Then obviously they won't believe the reply and will go and ask some consultancy company to come in and do a "review". Because "no way they can be running their Java stuff so slow". In all probability, the review will recommend they use the RBO, or some other crap...

The more these things change, the more they stay the same! Get ready for the next round of meaningless benchmarks, folks.
