I have a perl script. Any ideas on how I can run it without having to use perl?

I changed #!/bin/perl to #!/bin/sh on the 1st line and it executes all right.. but it gives a whole bunch of errors! What's up with that!?

PS. Why do you want to treat Oracle software different conceptually
than you would anything else on Linux?
