While it's a personal preference, I like SuSE's implementation.

SuSE (http://www.suse.com) is one of the UnitedLinux partners & Oracle is certified under UnitedLinux 1.0, same as Red Hat AS 2.1 - none of the desktops are certified (neither SuSE 8.2 nor RedHat 9) but SuSE does provide a lot of hints about getting Oracle working on 8.2 (http://www.suse.com/us/business/certifications/certified_software/oracle/index.html and especially the "Support Matrix" link).
