cannot start the management service on the local computer.

Hi,

I've just installed oracle management server on a windows 2003 server and set it up. The oracle management service won't start however, giving the message

could not start the Oracle<home>Managementserver service on the local computer
Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

anyone come across this before or know what the problem is. Help would be appreciated.
