Connecting to Oracle7 server from Oracle 9 problems

I am trying to connect to an Oracle 7.3.4 server from Oracle 9i 9.2.0.1.
with SQL-plus. The program exits after a couple of seconds and the
connection can not be established. I am also having problems connecting
with ODBC.



Any suggestions?
