ARG: Help recovering from hotbackup

We are trying to restore from a hotbackup, we have all datafiles, the trace control file, and all archive logs. However, we did not back up the redo logs. We are trying to rebuild the control file and it is complaining about the redo logs.

Can anyone offer any suggestions?
