I'm now getting a new error. But it may be just a minor thing. I've not had time to look at it and cross reference against the redhat documentation and such. But I'm getting...
Xlib: connection to "0:0" refused by server. Xlib: Client is not authorized to connect to server. java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError
