Nope. Oracle doesn't want them to appear in the one view, because a lot of people's backup scripts select from v$datafile (or dba_data_files) to determine what needs backing up. Since tempfiles can't be recovered, you can't put them into hot backup mode. So including them in those views would throw errors in all those backup scripts.

Nothing to stop you creating your own view, of course.
