Has anyone ever met the same case? How about you suggestion that where shall i search for?

I think of recovering the database, but it should not be the case. For after roll forward, database should be open, then it do database rollback.

Someone said in mail-list that: In Tru64 and other Unix, Oracle create a file in /tmp I think if this file exists there don¡ät start. But i do not know which file it is, and i never heared of that kind of things.Instance has started, just the database won't open.

Hope someone can help! Thanks
