There is no INTERNAL account in 9i. Just use SYS (which must connect with the AS SYSDBA clause) or another equivalent. And joy of joys, in 9iR2 the DBCA actually forces you to change SYS and SYSTEM passwords, so if you're on that release and used the DBCA, no-one can help you remember. Just connect as SYSDBA. HTH.
