Assuming an NT 4.0 system with no Oracle components, what is the minimum that would need to be installed on that system to utilize ADO/Oracle OLEDB in VB apps running on that machine. As I understand it, you would need TNS(Net8) services. Can this be installed on its own or do you need to install the complete Oracle Client software? I would also need the Oracle OLEDB provider which, again, I understand is part of the Oracle Client but can it be installed by itself?

What I'm hoping for is a system that has nothing more then the TNS services and the Oracle OLEDB provider installed. Is this possible and would it suffice? Thanks.
