Getting there...
Ok, so my 9i db is running and some of the 9i services too. However when I start the httpd server the following occurs:
The Apache server reads
/u01/app/oracle/product/9.0.1.0/Apache/modplsql/cfg/plsql.conf
and attempts to load
/u01/app/oracle/product/9.0.1.0/Apache/modplsql/bin/modplsql.so
which in turn errors with
Cannot load /export/app/oracle/product/9.0.1.0/Apache/modplsql/bin/modplsql.so
into server:
ld.so.1: /export/app/oracle/product/9.0.1.0/Apache/Apache/bin/httpd:
fatal:
libclntsh.so.8.0: open failed: No such file or directory
My environment variables are fine - there $ORACLE_HOME/lib is used but there is no libclntsh.so.8.0 in that directory. Note that if I symbolic link that file to the libclntsh.so.8.0 or use a libclntsh.so.8.0 from another server - there is still no resolution.
If anyone has any ideas I would gratefully receive them
