I just read most of Howard J. Rogers' doc on Backup and Recovery. I had
previously taken the OCP B&R test (and others) and passed it easily. I
still felt, as I am sure you all know, inadequete due to lack of experience.
I have been shoved into a DBA role here and am trying to learn as much as I
can, as fast as I can with very little experience (under one year of any
type of Oracle admin experience). I just want to say that I got alot of
information from those docs and appreciate the simplistic (as simple as can
be expected) manner in which the topics were covered. I do not know why
these docs were pulled of the web, but I would love to have access to some
others. One of the things I am working on now is network connectivity and
trying to figure out Net8 and Enterprise Manager. Does HJR have docs on this
type of information?
