I think it depends on what you are attempting to achieve. If you just want to learn another DBMS, because you feel like it, learn Ingres; it will chew up the least amount of your time, and it's quite well behaved. (The default Win install config is silly, though, and runs badly.)

If you are looking to actually make a living from a different DBMS, pick whichever one you work with the best. Nobody wants an Oracle DBA who can't get along with Oracle.
