I've only ever worked from the CD so I'm not sure whether the download is slightly different. You should have the file, runInstaller, either in the root directory or off the install directory. (Do a find for "install"). If it's not there, I wouldn't even try to do it myself: have another look on the sight you got it from and see if this was only part of the total required files.
