TCP/IP domain of the network

HI all,

We are running Sun 5.6/Solaris 2.6.

I was installing Oracle Application Server, and I was prompted: Please enter the TCP/IP domain for the network

What Unix commands would I run, or files would I look at, to find this out?

domainname gives me nothing.
and there is no file: /etc/defaultdomain

The app will not talk to any other servers at this time.

Again, please pardon my networking ignorance. They are really spreading me thin here, so I don't have a lot of time to really chew and digest everything that they throw at me.

Thanks,

Argosy
