Most Oracle Unix based DBA's probably perform their regular exports
tasks by setting up a cron job to run a shell script that is set up to
run the exp utility in batch mode. That is how we run ours. We do
basically the same thing under VMS also except the System Administrator
has the system run a DCL script that we set up.
Doesn't the OEM tool has a scheduling feature? I do not use OEM so I have never played with trying to use it.
