Hello,



I'm using Oracle 8.1.5i, debian GNU/Linux 2.2, linux 2.2.14
When starting sqlplus as user oracle, it works.
However, it's impossible to start it as an other user (root included)



smouss:~# sqlplus scott/tiger


(...)


ERROR:



ORA-01034: ORACLE not available



Environment variable have been set in the right way



Any help is welcomed.
