Audit some SELECT statements

Is there an easy way to audit all the SELECT statements, EXCEPT those against the SYS objects? If not, is there a way to audit all the objects for a given schema owner? Not auditing a particular user, but instead auditing any SELECTS against any tables owned by SCHEMA1. If this is possible, I could then turn off system wide auditing and then just audit the particular owners I wanted. We have system auditing on and the selects against the SYS tables are filling up AUD$ to quickly for our taste. TIA.
