error messages when starting up

Hi all,
I have a problem and it involves starting my database.

after I issued my startup command
and mounting the database, I encountered error messages. ora-01157: cannot identify/lock datafile 9-see dbwr trace file ora-01110: datafile 9: '/u02/jenny.dbf'

I tried checking the log files but it did not tell me anything.

because of this I get other error messages such as ora-01219: database not open:queries allowed on fixed tables/views only And when I try to connect a user, I get ora-01033: oracle initialization or shutdown in progress
