Yes exactly. The installer insisted on trying to make subdirectories and so I could not use RAW for the install. Now I'm stuck and want out! Fortunately I'm keeping my IDS systems this is for our data warehouse which is using Oracle 7.3.3.3.... (how many subversions do these guys have anyway?) and I am bringing up a new server using 8.(lots of version digits) to replace one of the older servers on faster hardware.
