        Hello,

I am running Oracle 7.3.3 on a Sparc/Solaris 2.5.1. I have to design a database which will be used to store strings in different charsets (Latin1, Cyrillic, Greek and East European). Can this be done with in the same instance of Oracle, or do I have to create a database for each charset ? Oracle doc advise to create the database with a superset of all charsets that will be used, but what is the superset of all these ?

Also I could add Japanese to the list, but I doubt it is possible to mix single byte charsets with multibyte charset ...

Thanks in advance for any advice.
