Thanks, that was it. It took a few practice runs to verify, but as I
increased the value for each import attempt, the number of errors was
reduced and finally eliminated. The fund-raising office here at McGill
purchased a package called "Advance" from BSR - Business Systems
Resources, Inc. (any other customers out there?). A few of the stored
procedures are fairly large - I eventually set the buffer value at 256K.
