NT, RAID-5, OS software

Hi All:

I'm running Oracle 8 on NT 4.0. I'm creating a database from scratch. However, the OS software is already installed on a 3 disk raid. I'm going to distribute the I/O of temporary, system, and rollback tablespace among 3 additional non-raid disks. However, the data and indexes I'm going to put on the raid, and use Oracle's parallel options. Will this provide reasonable performance, or will NT be fighting for the disk too often, nullifying the advantages of the RAID in the first place?

The OS was already installed on the RAID, but I could reinstall it on one of the seperate disks. Is there a way to move it to one of those disks seamlessly?

Thanks,
