Installing Oracle on SCO5.04

Sigh.

I'm trying to install an Enterprise Server 7.3.2.2.0 on SCO 5.04. Everything seems to go fine, but after a while it tells me:

'**something went wrong**' (no not those exact words :-)

The install.log says:

ERROR: The 'CREATE DATABASE' statement for the orcl database failed

and os.log says:

ORA-07331: smsnsg: unable to allocate the variable portion of the SGA ORA-01034: ORACLE not available

When I Read The Fine Material provided, I can't see this mentioned anywhere. What shall I do? Please someone, help.
