Get support, and then search metalink for upgrade instructions. Definitely choose AS10g over 9. (Actually, you will find it is a 9 version, but it is different enough to be called a 10 version. The 9iAS is patch hell, 10 finally has that sorted out.)

Most things will run better, it is trivial compared to the rest of it. Plenty of info available everywhere, including the upgrade manual.
