ODBC connection to ORACLE

Hello

What files are needed in a ODBC connection from clients running Windows NT/98
connecting to an Oracle 8.1.7 Standard Server on Windows NT 4.0 server ?

It is my idea to avoid installing the complete Oracle client software on client workstations,
because it has to be used on > 500 workstations and no one really using all the facilities.
