With Oracle you can save your files anywhere you want, e. g. /oracle1/SID/system.dbf or /oracle2/SID/user.dbf I never used the dbassist to create a standard database so I don't know where is the standard location.
Run select * from v$datafile; to find more about your data files.

You can write an init.ora file, a create database file and run it with svrmgrl. The duration of creating a database depends on file sizes.
