Hi there,
I want to use JDBC Driver(OCI7) to connect to the default database on
oracle8 NTserver, I use the following commands:
Class.forName ("oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver");
Connection conn =
DriverManager.getConnection ("jdbc:oracle:oci7:", "scott",
"tiger");
An exception throw out after running and just like the following :
oracle.jdbc.oci7.OCIDBException: Error while trying to retrieve text for error O
RA-01019
at java.lang.Throwable.<init>(Compiled Code) at java.sql.SQLException.<init>(Compiled Code) at oracle.jdbc.oci7.OCIDBException.<init>(Compiled Code) at oracle.jdbc.oci7.OCIDBAccess.check_error(Compiled Code) at oracle.jdbc.oci7.OCIDBAccess.logon(OCIDBAccess.java:150) at oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleConnection.<init>(OracleConnection.java:93) at oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver.connect(OracleDriver.java:146) at java.sql.DriverManager.getConnection(Compiled Code) at java.sql.DriverManager.getConnection(DriverManager.java:134) at Employee.main(Employee.java:23)
I check out the manual and discover this is memory linkage error. WHAT's
going on ???
Can anybody offer kindly help on my problem ???????????????????????
Thanks !!!!!!!!
Regards
Stephen
