Instead of ODBC there is another easy way of accessing oracle data thru excel..
that is using 'Oracle Objetcs for OLE' also called OO4O.. you may find it
already available on some of ur oracle CDs (i know 'personal ora7' has it for
sure).. search the oracle site for more info or try this ready made application
