Problem: OWAS 3.0 on DEC-UNIX

Hi,

I am having trouble using the Oracle Web Application Server. I use OWAS 3.0.0.0.0 for DEC-UNIX 4.0 (do I need a newer release of OWAS?).

1. Every now and then I get core dumps by wrbc. Gdb says:

There is absolutely no warranty for GDB. Type "show warranty" for details.
This GDB was configured as "alphaev5-dec-osf4.0d"... (no debugging symbols found)...
Core was generated by `wrbc'.
Program terminated with signal 6, IOT/Abort trap. Reading symbols from /usr/shlib/librt.so...(no debugging symbols found)...done.

2. wrbfac produces hundreds (!) of <defunct> child processes.
