Sun is being squished more from there inability (or lack of interest) to compete in the commodity computer market. Those high margins and service contracts will kill them in the end. I'm not going to touch Netscape, but from my experience dealing with Sun as a customer, they're the most arrogant company I've ever encountered.

Government regulation and oversight is hardly EVER a good thing. The software industry needs a real professional association to regulate these things internally.
