I usually trouble obsolete backup issues with REPORT NEED BACKUP. Try these commands:

REPORT NEED BACKUP; REPORT NEED BACKUP DEVICE TYPE SBT; REPORT NEED BACKUP RECOVERY WINDOW OF 5 DAYS; REPORT NEED BACKUP RECOVERY WINDOWS OF 10 DAYS; On Fri, May 2, 2014 at 3:38 PM, Michael Schmitt <mschmitt_at_uchicago.edu>wrote:
