Grid, right. Should have known. Haven't installed Oracle Grid for awhile. Love those Marketers, Cloud Foundation Layer. I like it!

In this case the short answer is that you install *and upgrade* the existing cluster. The 2 don't co-exist, but the latter is capable of running older databases. "11gr2 grid software" does not exist to my knowledge. No Agent, or OMS is version 11gr2. Only EM 11gr1, 10gr2, 10gr1 or EM 12c.
