How to test a remote connection and oracle password file on the same server?
Does the string
sql>connect sys_at_hostname as sysdba
And
$sqlplus sys_at_hostname as sysdba
Prove a remote connection and the use of a password file?
Is there a way around this, i.e. to use the connect strings without a password file?
