10g does auto collection of statistics. It does it when the system is having less activity. Is there any way i can stop the statistics collection from taking place for a particular schema? I can run a job to delete statistics. We are going to upgrade to 10g and the optimizer mode is going to be the default ALL_ROWS. We are not planning to change it to RULE since it is de-supported.

Any ideas?

TIA Govidan
