I've verified that indexes are present.

We've re-run Gather Statistics for the table. Now the SELECT operation of all three SQLs
(CTAS, INSERT and SELECT-only) runs in comparably the same time (between 1sec and 2sec
unlike the 45minutes plus the INSERT-SELECT was taking earlier) !
