This is just FYI...

If PostgreSQL is in your radar, please note that PostgreSQL comes bundled with Solaris 10 and that you can get commercial support from Sun. Sun has hired Josh Berkus, one of the core PostgreSQL developers to help in this effort:

One big difference between PostgreSQL on Solaris on that of other platforms is that the Solaris release of PostgreSQL contains Solaris DTrace probes to make it more observable.
