My apologies ... with a name like Steve Smith I've found that a moniker is more distinguishing if, for nothing else, to identify one Steve among many. Long ago I found that stvsmth will get me an account almost anywhere and in the intervening years I've grown lazy & simply used stv.

Thanks for the input, at least I know enough to see the issues as they stand. Now only to pay closer attention to the help files (cringing at missing the CONSISTENT=Y part).
