Heh... that's probably CRS new feature.
I don't believe Compaq guys used "windoze style" naming ;-)

Anyway, you can use spaces on *nix:

oracle_at_raclinux1:~> ls space*
/bin/ls: space*: No such file or directory oracle_at_raclinux1:~> touch "space in the name" oracle_at_raclinux1:~> ls space*
space in the name
oracle_at_raclinux1:~>
