He can compile the ASMLib. Source code is also there. Of course, RH 2.4.19 is
lovingly referred to as to "frankenkernel" so you advice to upgrade is very sound.
I'm sure that Kevin Closson can tell you all about the advantages of using
frankenkernel and how much spice will it add to your life. You will not be bored,
that much I can promise.
