Resend: 64 bit RHEL 3.0 ES / HP DL585 / SmartArray 5i - RAID driver issues (Opteron)

Has anyone encountered issues with attempting to install 64 bit RHEL 3.0 ES on AMD Opteron in an HP DL585 using the integrated SmartArray 5i RAID controller?

I've (indirectly) got my hands on an eval unit (clock is ticking).
The 32 bit version of RHEL 3.0 ES installs without issue, as the controller driver is included in that distro.

Looking forward to posting a few comparisions on 9.2.0.4 (32 vs. 64 bit).
There is no 10g version for AMD64 (x86-64) available for download as of yet.

Yes, we could uncable the internal disc enclosure from the RAID controller, and recable to a SCSI controller, but I wanted to see if anyone else had found a
driver.

I already have a support call into HP, they're researching the issue.

I consider it on-topic, as its interfering with me testing 64 bit Oracle on the above combo. :)
