'Marvel' was the inhouse name for this skunk works project, at least so I
am told.
Enough folks liked it that it became a product.
Dunno if Oracle has said how long the website will last.

Subject: HTML DB
What is the purpose of the website
http://marvel.oracle.com? Is it for specifically testing HTML DB and/or the development of
production applications for users that do not want to take on the
additional infrastructure? Something else... Thanks
