Thanks for the feedback from everyone. I'll probably upgrade to 9.2.0.4 unless there is a pressing reason to upgrade to 9.2.0.4.5 and when it becomes available.
Apparently bug no 2921201 is showing as fixed in 9.2.0.5 in Metalink but Oracle support gave me a date of March at the earliest for its release.

At lease 9.2.0.5 will be released by oracle. I have seen some note talking about 9.2.0.5 patchset.
