Hi List

My database is taking vert long time to startup. so I just wanted to check alert log file. But I don't see Alert log in either background_dump_dest or user_dump_dest.
Also I check $ORACLE_HOME/database dir and $ORACLE_HOME/admin/{SID}/* (all directory).

SQL> show parameter dump
