	Hi all ,

I have a doubt in creating standby databases . I took one cold
backup
from primary database last week and restored the backup in standby
database
.After taking the cold backup i have added one more tablespace to
primary
database .Now my doubt is to bring my standby database up if i have
to take
one more cold backup or is there any way to add only the new
datafiles to
the standby . I have all the logs generated from last week and also
i
created a new controlfile using the command

'alter datbase create stand by controlfile to '< path > '

My primary and standby datbases are in two remote locations so again
to take
cold backup and bring it to the other location will take time.
That's why i
am finding some way to bring it up using the coldbackup which i have
.
	Regards,
	Shibu
