Oh, please don't get me wrong: grades are important!
My point is that there's getting perfect grades, and there's knowing what's going on. And sometimes they're different. I believe you're better off with both credentials *and* actual horsepower than with just one or the other.
I don't consider that a cynical view, just a practical one.

yeah but alot of employers like to see the certifications. so for most of us who are not at the point in our career as some of the senior guys here, we have to do it. Ive noticed that you can get more done if your certified too. Adds credibility to what you say. Especially with management.
btw, you dont need to pay for the expensive tuning course. just buy one exam book and read the docs. then practice at home and ask questions on the web.
course is a waste of money.
